Splash Pad
No smoking or vaping tobacco or cannabis on or within 20 meters of splash pads. (Smoke Free Ontario Act, 2017)

General Rules & Conduct
- This facility is unsupervised, all children under the age of 10 must always be under the care and control of a parent or responsible guardian.
- The splash pad operating hours are daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. commencing June 15 and ending September 15. It is prohibited to be in the area of the splash pad outside of the posted times of operation and will be considered a breach of the Trespass to Property Act.

- Although Ontario allows women to be top free, we appreciate that all persons may not be comfortable with this freedom and as such ask for discretion in this regard
- Splash pads are slippery in nature. No person shall engage in boisterous play or running in or about the splash pad.
- No persons shall participate in any throwing activity of flying discs, balls or other such sporting items in or near a splash pad.
- No animals / pets are permitted on the splash pad area.
- Only service animals should be permitted in these areas.
- No person shall operate a drone within 100 metres of a splash pad.
- Discourage risky behavior among children – in particular, don’t let them stick their backsides or mouth near the waterspouts or swallow the water.
- Recreational water is not intended for drinking – avoid swallowing water from splash pad.
- Do not picnic or drink in or around the splash park.
- No glass containers, food, or beverage are allowed on the splash pad or in the area immediately surrounding the splash pad.
- No person shall pollute the water or surface of the splash pad in any manner or on the immediate area surrounding the splash pad.
- Do no use the splash pad if you have an open sore or rash, or are experiencing nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
- Children should be appropriately attired for their age and continence ability to prevent fouling of the splash pad (e.g. swim diapers recommended).
- Bathe your child thoroughly (especially the rear end) with soap and water before going to the splash park.
- Change diapers in a bathroom or a diaper-changing area away from the splash park and wash your hands with soap once complete.
- Don’t allow your children in the splash park if they have diarrhea.
- Take kids on bathroom breaks or check their diapers often.
- If human body waste is released it is recommended that all persons stop using the area and call the emergency contact information. Diseases can be transmitted if a user come’s in contact with contaminated water containing fecal matter or vomit.
- No Smoking or Vaping on or near recreational property.
