St.-Charles is patrolled by the Noëlville Detachment of the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police).  The Noëlville OPP Administrative Centre is located in the Municipality of French River within the District of Sudbury.

The Noëlville cluster has satellite offices located in Killarney with the administration centre located at 4051 Hwy. 64 in Noëlville.

The Noëlville cluster provides 24 hour policing.  The detachment has 27 full time officers, 2 admin clerks and 2 caretakers.
