St.-Charles is patrolled by the Noelville Detachment of the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police).  The Noelville OPP Administrative Centre is located in the Municipality of French River within the District of Sudbury.

The Noelville cluster has satellite offices located in Killarney and Warren with the administration centre located at 4051 Hwy. 64 in Noelville.

The Noelville cluster provides 24 hour policing.  The detachment has 27 full time officers, 2 admin clerks and 2 caretakers.
