Voting Methods for 2022 Elections
The Municipality of St.-Charles has once again chosen Vote by Mail for the 2022 Election.
The Municipality, in conjunction with DataFix, will provide a Vote by Mail kit to every person who qualifies to be an elector up to the closed of voting on October 24, 2022 at 8:00 p.m.
Voter Eligibility
You are eligible to vote in St.-Charles if you are:
- a Canadian citizen; and,
- at least 18 years of age; and,
- a resident of St.-Charles; or,
- a non-resident of St.-Charles, but you or your spouse own or rent property in the Municipality; and,
- are not prohibited from voting under any law.
You may only vote once in the St.-Charles Municipal Election regardless of how many properties you own or rent within the Municipality. However, you may vote in multiple Municipal Elections if you own property outside of St.-Charles.
Make sure you are on the Voters List!
Visit voterlookup.ca to make sure you are registered to vote in the 2022 Municipal and School Board Election, and that all of your information is accurate.
Through this site, the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is responsible for collecting the information of residents in Ontario (name, date of birth, citizenship and school support) in order to create a Preliminary List of Electors for municipal and school board elections. Municipalities use the Preliminary List of Electors to prepare their Voter Lists for the elections.

The Nomination Period opens on Monday, May 2, 2022 and closes on Nomination Day, Friday, August 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
