During the winter of 2000, our Community Centre interior was completely renovated. Thanks to funding provided by the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund, over $125,000 was invested in upgrading and improving the entire hall.
Some of the renovations include: A new covered entrance with automatic doors, a new secured coat check, a mirrored wall entrance, new flooring on the stage, new kitchen equipment, and new tables and chairs.
Also, larger washrooms have been added for both men and women as well as the bar area has been expanded with a new security roll-up door. Finally, the entire hall has been re-painted and adorned with natural oak trim. We encourage you to stop by the centre, see the renovations and consider it for your next event!
